Connect 4 are seeking skilled Mechanical Fitters for prestigious projects in the UK and Europe. Being a skilled Mechanical Fitter, you would need to have experience within the automation/robotics industry as projects involve the assembly and installation of automated production lines including robotic cells, tooling, jigs and fixtures.

Being the Mechanical/Electrical Engineer you’ll be building machines for the flexible material industry, these ranges from building the machines from the ground up either mechanically or electrically, by using theodolites and scopes to level the machines ranging from 3 meters to 12 meters in length and to quality inspection of parts.

Within working in the position you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience on the following: Hydraulics, Mechanical Fitting, Mechanical Drawings, Electrical Fitting, Quality Inspection and Reporting, Panel Wiring, Metrology, Computer Aided Design of basic parts, Project Management, Service and Maintenance Engineering, Machine Wiring, Working on site, Building Bespoke Machines, Reading Engineering Drawings and Circuits
