Connect 4 are working with a globally recognised company. They are now recruiting a layout engineer to join the expanding team. As a layout engineer you’ll be responsible to provide layout technical solution within the Customers timing, cost constraints and expectations, prepare timely and accurate technical specifications to customer and product requirements, effectively interact with the Process, Design and RobCad teams so as to create and maintain accurate Plant Layout drawings, taking lean manufacturing principles into account.
Key Skills needed:
Layout Engineer | Facility Engineer | Facilities Engineer
Experience working with AutoCAD, Factory CAD and Vision MockUp
Knowledge of Catia V5
Good understanding of factory simulation techniques
Good working knowledge of MS Project
Awareness of lean manufacturing methodologies
Type: Long Term Contract
Rate: £30 – £40 ph

Process Engineer | Packaging | Design Engineer | Layout Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer | Packaging | Manufacturing Engineer to join a globally recognised company that turn over £1.5 billion a year they have an expanding team with exciting projects within the packing/corrugated industry.
You would need to be a skilled and experienced engineer within packing/corrugated processes helping with cycle times, cardboard, gluing and improvement processes.

Understands the process of packaging (boxes)

Folding | Glueing | making of boxes into bigger boxes | Die Cut Blanks
Glue Folder
Picking up banded groups
Box erector

Supply fold | Glue & packaging
Packaging Industry
Layout and Design
Worked out types of palatizing equipment needed
Analyses type of robots needed for package solution including weight, location and length.
Chooses the best heads for the packaging
Type: Contract
Rate: £35-£40 per hour.
